Project management

GM&T people are the only partner you need in order to efficiently get access to the benefits of a world market of toolmakers. We bridge gaps in culture, communication, technology standards, and technologies in order to supply you with the best injection mold at the lowest investment.

A typical mold is build in 6 to 8 weeks soon after which we present the first plastic products to you. All stages are controled by an accurate project planning system.

Mold Design

We systematically analyse your needs and collect relevant data before we start designing the mold. The use and lifecycle of your product dictate which mold-design you need. We like to receive drawings in 2D-DXF,DWG and 3D-IGS,SAT. Analyses of Cooling, filling, warping are available. The use of prototypes will further help you decide what product specifications are demanded. The making of a prototype takes 1 or 2 days.

Progress reports

The tools are built under our direct supervision. We supply progress reports using pictures. This is common with our toolmakers in China and other countries around the globe. Our scheduling system keeps track of the building progress. We have the systems to select and evaluate toolmakers and that is why we can guarantee a delivery performance of over 96%.

Production tested molds

Newly built molds are production tested according to Automotive standards (QS9000): simulating a regular production series. These pre-production tests are done at our toolmakers. Our engineers are present during production tests.
The tools are built according to our Western demands. Including such things as hot-runners, steel-certificates, dimensional reports of 0-series. Finished molds are delivered to The Netherlands or directly to our customers. Fast pre-production of small numbers is possible. Or production can be started in China with local injection-molders.

Manufacturing outsourcing

We have proven that one can successfully move labour-intensive injection-molding plus assembly to China. Production-cost were cut almost in half without loosing attention for quality. We can arrange outsourcing production to China. This is especially interesting for labour-intensive production.
Moreover, we can efficiently outsource production in Europe. Here we have a wide range of injection-molding production plants. In the range of 40 to 800ton clamping force, clean-room production, assembly, etc. ISO9001-2000 certified suppliers with high performance levels and competitive prices.
